Our honey with curry and saffron has a reference to South Asia and in particular to the region of India. Native to these areas, curry became popular in the western world in the 19th and 20th century due to its mass export as a seasoning, by the settlers of the East. There, the spice mixture used each time, is a matter of national or local tradition and culture, religious practice or simply a matter of taste of each family.
We created our own blend, enriching it with the miraculous saffron.
Curry has valuable health benefits, as it protects the immune system from bacterial infections, helps to detoxify the body, protects against heart diseases, is anti-cancer and is said to reduce Alzheimer’s symptoms.
Saffron on the other hand, is one of the most expensive spices, identified by researchers as an elixir of longevity thanks to its healing properties.
